which he signed with a loving message to his mother Gladys

Inscription in block capitals on the last page of
the Bible, Elvis noted where Gladys Presley was buried
on August 14th, 1958, in Forest Hill Cemetery on Highway 51
Below it, in large blue handwriting, he added
"I love ya mama –
Elvis Presley 59"
Elvis purchased the 1958
King James Bible and as it was his habit of jotting notes in the
books he read... Elvis noted on the inside cover of the Bible a
list of all his family members and their birthdays. Elvis also
noted that he owed his uncle some money and jotted a reminder
to pay him
After his mother's funeral in 1959 Elvis had added this hand
written message of the back pages of the King James Bible
"I love ya mama" and noted where she’s buried
