However,
she undoubtedly had the most famous "walk-on" part in one of
Elvis Presley’s films. After her Las Vegas show in 1954, Gloria
succeeded in landing cameos in numerous Hollywood movies.
In 1953, she made
her debut as a French girl in the cornball comedy Ma and Pa Kettle Go on
Vacation. Then in 1954 her was
hanging on the arm of Kirk Douglas in the Disney blockbuster 20,000
Leagues Under the Sea.
Several cameos later,
Gloria landed the leggy role of a stripper in Jailhouse Rock. Elvis fans
will recall the scene in the 1957 movie in which Elvis, at the La
Florita nightclub, first meets the young record promoter who takes him
under her wing.
Gloria plays the part of the stripper who is seen briefly walking in
front of the camera Anyone who has seen Jailhouse Rock will recall her
shapely legs in the nightclub scene. I recently contacted Gloria, who
has since written a book on her experience with Elvis during the making

at the time we were shooting Jailhouse Rock. Later my husband ran off

From close sources that claim to have hit the hay with him, he was
raring to go. In my book I described what he did to me when I met him
backstage at the Frontier in Vegas, April '56. If I reveal it during
this interview they won't be curious enough to buy the book. it was
quite a sensual experience! Nobody has ever done that to me before or
