Princess Diana did it in 1989, with a white beaded high collar. Kate Moss took it one step further and did her Elvis impersonation in her retro 1968 Elvis black leather suit. Recently Amal Clooney was seen out and about in a sophiscated Elvis white jumpsuit.

Princess Diana’s Elvis dress Diana dubbed this piece her ‘Elvis dress’ due to its high collar and dazzling finish. It was made especially for her by London-based couturière Catherine Walker and was worn to the British Fashion Awards in 1989, and again during a visit to Hong Kong. The dress is actually two parts: a white silk strapless gown encrusted with pearls and sequins and a matching bolero jacket.
